With a thatched roof and white powdery sand for a floor, Memories Bar retains that authentic ocean vibe we’re always searching for.

The original restaurant was destroyed by the tsunami in 2004. The new restaurant, opened in 2009 by the same owners, is named “Memories” in tribute to those who died in the tsunami.

The beach bar and restaurant, also feature massage service, bungalows and the Pakarang Surf shop. We highly recommend surf lessons for beginners or board rentals experienced surfers.
