Sick beats, epic beaches: DJ Sven Väth to hit Phuket and Koh Samui
The big daddy of techno, DJ Sven Väth, has announced his Thailand tour dates, just in time to ask for your 2016 vacation leave. Perfect!
Sven, along with DJ Nakadia, will be spinning on January 9, 2016 at Illuzion nightclub, Patong, Phuket, followed by a gig on January 15, 2016 at Koh Samui’s Cha Cha Moon beach club on Chaweng Beach.
The German DJ and producer is a pioneer of techno, blending his unique mix of techno, trance, ambient techno and house since 1981. You might not have been born yet, but as any electro music fan will know, Sven’s music has just gotten better with age.
DJ Nakadia will bring her deep house, techno and tech-house beats to the party as she gets back to her roots in Southern Thailand. Now, the Berlin-based Thai DJ is known for traveling the world, drawing in crowds with sick beats from Ibiza to Phuket.
This tour pairs Sven with some of the islands’ best venues. Illuzion, on Patong’s raucous late-night walking street, Bangla Road, is one of Phuket’s most happening clubs. Cha Cha Moon is located on Koh Samui’s most lively beach, Chaweng. And it’s one of our favorite party spots. Come here early for sundowners on the sand and some chill vibes, then get your dance on, as the party scene gets wild late into the night.
With Sven Väth spinning at these top island venues, it’s gauranteed to be a great party. But if you can’t get time off work to party in Phuket and Koh Samui (booo!), don’t worry. Sven takes on the mainland at Bangkok’s fave party joint Live RCA on January 30, 2016.
