We love the unassuming beachfront restaurant here, but there are also unassuming bungalows to complete your backpacker experience on Koh Tao. At the restaurant, sit on the beat up old triangle pillows (or don’t we won’t blame you) and order up classic Thai dishes like Tom Yum Kung and Yum Talay from the delightfully cantankerous staff. The massive granite boulder in front of the restaurant doesn’t block the view, so much as add to it. Granite rock formations are part of what makes the island of Koh Tao so unique.
